Homeless Outreach Program

Engaging with the homeless provides our youth with valuable lessons in compassion and helping those less fortunate. By educating them about the realities of homelessness, we help them develop empathy and a non-judgmental mindset. It also challenges them to reflect on their own choices and the consequences of their actions. Our youth are exposed to the harsh realities faced by the homeless, including struggles with addiction, mental health challenges, and the impact of difficult life choices. While anyone can be told about life on the streets, witnessing firsthand where the homeless sleep, how they survive, and the lack of basic necessities leaves a lasting impact on our youth, offering them a deeper understanding of the hardships some people face.

Our Homeless Outreach Program involves a range of impactful activities aimed at supporting those in need. During Night Outreach, our team prepares and distributes 100 food kits, each containing a sandwich, side item, and bottled water, to the homeless in the early evening. We also provide essential hygiene supplies, blankets, pillows, and winter clothing to help meet their immediate needs. Our youth volunteers actively serve meals at local organizations, including The Dream Center, Catholic Charities, and the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. Additionally, we organize and lead drives to collect and distribute food and basic necessities, ensuring continued support for the homeless community.
